Seth Politano is a Los Angeles-based physician and medical school professor with a long-standing career in internal medicine, medical education, and academic leadership. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and also works as a faculty and content advisor in internal medicine for Sketchy. Over the course of his career, he has held multiple academic roles, including more than a decade at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he was an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine and Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Earlier in his career, he trained and worked at McGovern Medical School, where he served as Chief Medical Resident and later as Associate Program Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine.

Originally from New York, Seth grew up in a socioeconomically disadvantaged community, which strongly influenced his decision to pursue medicine.
