Amanda Tholke is a Cincinnati-based criminal defense attorney with over a decade of experience in Ohio’s legal system. Licensed since 2012, she has built a career handling both prosecution and defense work, gaining a broad understanding of courtroom dynamics and trial procedure. Her current role is as an associate at The Lewis Law Firm, where she focuses on criminal defense cases. Before joining the firm, she served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Cincinnati and previously for the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Over her ten years in prosecution, Tholke held multiple positions across divisions, including Juvenile, Dependency, Drug, and Criminal. She supervised teams, handled grand juries, managed felony trials, and trained new lawyers. Her time in these roles established her reputation for thorough legal preparation and courtroom advocacy. In 2023, she transitioned to private defense practice, representing clients in a wide range of criminal matters across Cincinnati and surrounding areas.

Tholke’s educational background includes a Doctor of Law degree from Boston University School of Law, where she graduated in 2011. During her studies, she was a teaching assistant and a founding member of the American Indian Law Society. Before law school, she attended Washington and Lee University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and French, graduating cum laude.
