With more than 20 years of experience, Bob’s career spanned various roles at the Lexington Public Library, where he worked from 2003 until his retirement in 2022. His experience included managerial and supervisory roles where he managed staff, planned educational programs, and led various committees to improve library services and community engagement. One of his notable accomplishments was being nominated for the Joseph Miller Outstanding Customer Service Award, reflecting his commitment to providing excellent service to the community.

Bob is also an avid ultrarunner and has been involved in the sport since 2014 when he ran his first Kentucky Derby Marathon Relay. Over time, his passion for running grew, and by 2018, he had completed his first ultramarathon. Since then, he has participated in numerous trail and cross-country races, including completing at least 32 miles annually at the Ironcology ultra relay event.
