Brad Grusnick is a voice actor with a prolific career in both video games and animation. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, he is currently based in Aurora, Illinois, and frequently travels between Chicago and Los Angeles for work. Grusnick embarked on his acting career from a young age, grabbing the spotlight in his first-grade play as “the loud kid.” This early start in acting led him to pursue formal education in the field at the Northwestern University School of Speech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Theatre. Despite the humorous claim of being a “Theatre Scientist,” his educational journey solidified his foundation in acting.

After his graduation, Grusnick honed his skills further by enrolling in The Second City Conservatory and Second City Writing Programs in Chicago. Here, he met like-minded individuals who shared a passion for improv. He performed in several shows at The Second City Training Center and was part of “The Fling,” a member team at The Playground Improv Theater. His involvement in improv theatre also led to the co-creation of the stage show and podcast Mohansen High School.

Grusnick’s unique talent for voice acting has been a significant aspect of his career, leading to numerous roles in high-profile video games such as Elder Scrolls Online, Diablo IV, and God of War: Ascension, among others. He has also voiced characters for animated series such as Dragons: Rescue Riders and Bunnicula. His voice has been a crucial part of advertisements for major brands including Hyundai, Nintendo, and McDonald’s.

In addition to his voice acting, Grusnick has explored other creative avenues, including writing. He has independently published a trilogy of detective novels and continues to work on additional literary projects. His contributions to the arts extend into academia as well; he is an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago, where he teaches voiceover at the Acting Studio Chicago.
