Diane Lochner is a librarian currently working in Nicollet, Minnesota. She holds the position of Library Technician at the Educational Resource Center (ERC). Diane completed her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) in December 2018 from St. Catherine University. Her educational background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Science in Aviation from the same institution.

Prior to entering the library field, Diane had a diverse career spanning 12 years in the airline industry, where she worked in management roles for Northwest and Delta Airlines, focusing on corporate training and compliance. She also has a passion for history, serving as a volunteer museum docent and processing archivist at the Northwest Airlines History Center in Bloomington.

Diane was originally from Rochester, Minnesota, and has lived in various states including North Dakota, Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Wisconsin. However, she is glad to now consider Nicollet and Minneapolis her home, sharing it with her husband and their cat.

Recently, Diane accepted the position of Head Librarian for the Glencoe and Brownton public libraries, which are part of the Pioneerland Library System in Minnesota. She has also served as Interim Public Access Team Manager. Diane is not only committed to her professional work but also enjoys sharing her culinary skills.
